Sustainability
Quality That Lasts. Choices That Matter.
At Tasteaze, sustainability is not a marketing term — it is a natural extension of the way we work. As a small-batch artisan food brand, we have always believed that doing things properly and doing things responsibly go hand in hand.
We are at the beginning of our sustainability journey, and we are committed to being honest about where we are today and where we are heading.
Premium Glass Jar Packaging
Every jar of Tasteaze Artisan Clarified Butter is presented in a premium glass jar. We chose glass deliberately — it is a natural, infinitely recyclable material that preserves the quality and freshness of our product without the need for plastic.
We encourage all our customers to recycle their Tasteaze jars or find a new use for them at home.
Small-Batch Production
Our small-batch approach means we produce only what is needed, reducing waste at every stage of the process. By keeping production carefully managed, we avoid overproduction and ensure that every jar that leaves our kitchen meets the Tasteaze standard.
No Unnecessary Additives
Tasteaze contains no artificial colours, no artificial flavours, and no preservatives. Our commitment to a clean, honest ingredient list is not only better for our customers — it also means a simpler, more responsible production process.
UK-Based Production
Tasteaze is handcrafted in Surrey, United Kingdom. By producing locally, we keep our supply chain short and support British food production.
Our Commitment Going Forward
As Tasteaze grows, we are committed to continuously reviewing our packaging, sourcing, and production practices to reduce our environmental impact wherever possible. We will always be transparent about our progress and honest about the areas where we are still working to improve.
If you have any questions about our sustainability approach or would like to share ideas, we’d love to hear from you at hello@tasteaze.co.uk.
